Pied Piper Publishing is interested in books on any aspect of children's literature, reading, writing and literacy. If you would like to submit an idea for consideration for either an authored or edited work please visit our website for a copy of our proposal form. We are currently particularly interested in books on theoretical readings of children's texts, teaching of children's literature in schools and higher education, creative writing for children, historical studies of the child reader and reading of alternative texts such as graphic novels, non-fiction and e-books. We publish two peer-reviewed journals, three times a year. Both journals include research papers, news items of interest and reviews of recent publications. The Journal of Children's Literature Studies concentrates on children's literature, childhood and books for children. The Journal of Reading, Writing & Literacy will be of interest to teachers, librarians and academics working in the areas of children's reading, writing and literacy. We publish out-of-print classic children's texts of interest to scholars and others undertaking historical studies of children's literature and childhood. Although not facsimile productions these texts include introductions by leading academics. The first two titles, The Fairchild Family and Goody Two-Shoes will be published in early 2004. Have
